An innovative, Scalable and Pro-Poor Home cooking-based Charcoal Production Value chain for Women

The project looked into the establishment of a home-based charcoal (HHC) production from cooking with firewood as a new livelihood opportunity for poor rural women. In total 14,958 women directly benefited from this project through (HHC) and policy-workshops as well as the establishment of home bamboo on homesteads, farm boundaries and degraded land.
