News5th International Symposium on Bamboo and Guadua
The organizing institutions and their representatives are pleased to announce the 5th International Symposium on Bamboo and Guadua, a meeting at which several researchers and lecturers as well as national and international experts will gather to share their knowledge through presentations and plenary lectures on different subjects related to this important natural resource.
The symposium will be held on the 18th, 19th and 20th of September, 2017. This year the host university is the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Bogotá, Auditorio del edificio Ciencia y Tecnología de Ingeniería.
Submitting Presentations
Authors wishing to present their work in the 5th International Symposium on Bamboo and Guadua should send their full-length presentation to the e-mail address: trabajossibguadua@outlook.com before 5 August, 2017 with the surnames of the authors and the word ‘article’ written on the subject of the e-mail.
Authors will be notified on the 20th August, 2017 about the acceptance of their work for oral or poster presentation . The official language for publication of the articles will be Spanish, although articles written in English will be accepted.
