Professor Zhou Shiqiang, of the China Conservation and Research Centre of the Giant Panda, profiles the organization’s work protecting this iconic animal;
Bouavanh Phachomphonh, leader of the Laos Rattan and Bamboo Project Team in WWF-Laos, details the ongoing work to conserve biodiversity and create more sustainable livelihoods with rattan.
The issue also features the winning images from the INBAR 2020 photography competition, which showcase the intimate relationship we have with bamboo, as well as news, reviews and analyses from the bamboo sector around the world, and updates from INBAR’s project work.
