In this paper, the author tests and analyses the anti-ultraviolet properties of 15 kinds of different specifications of bamboo/cotton blended fabrics. The results show that: Bamboo /cotton blended fabric’s Ultraviolet Protection Factor to pay are higher than 50, and the UV transmittance T (UVA) values are within 5%, this shows that they have natural anti-UV properties. the size of bamboo fiber content has little impact on the T (UVB) value, but has greater impact on T (UVA) values, and with the reduction of bamboo fiber of the weft, bamboo/cotton blended fabric’s T (UVA) value gradually reduces; Bamboo/cotton blended fabrics can effectively improve the anti-UV properties of wavelength (UVB), and significantly improve the fabric Ultraviolet Protection Factor, 30 bamboo/70 cotton is the best blending ratio; Test results also showed that: under the conditons of the same tissue. raw materials and warp density, when weft density is increased appropriately, can effectively improve the performance of the fabric’s anti-UV properties.
