This manual aims to support people who work in bamboo forestry with the propagation of Lung bamboo using offset planting. The manual offers step-by-step guidelines for the selection of sites for Lung clump mother plants, techniques for detaching offset planting, planting, maintenance and protection.
This research was carried out by the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees And Agroforestry (FTA) and the project of Production-driven Forest Landscape Restoration under REDD+ through Private Sector-Community Partnerships as an Asian Regional Learning Exchange (FLOURISH).
