This Working Paper provides an overview of the bioeconomic potential, technology options and opportunities of bamboo for bioenergy production. As such, this report aims to support relevant decision-makers and the bamboo sector stakeholders in their understanding of the potential and challenges of bamboo to meet key requirements towards the development of sustainable bioenergy supply chains.
The research was carried out by INBAR as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees and Agroforestry (FTA).
