This Transfer of Technology Model (TOTEM) on the bamboo furniture manufacturing unit has been produced by Zhang Binyuan and Jiang Jingyan at Nanjing Forestry University, China. The report part of this TOTEM describes the technology for establishing and running a bamboo furniture making unit for rural development in regions where bamboo is available as a raw material. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the illustrative film included in this TOTEM package.
