Chhotelal Chowdhary, Mewar University, India
Chhote Lal Chowdhary is a Ph.D. student on rattan management and marketing of rattan in relation to community forestry of Nepal. He has possibly pioneered the rattan research and development of rattan in Nepal from 1992. He has extensive knowledge of non-wood forest products (such as rattan, medicinal and aromatic plans and bamboo of Nepal). He is the principal author of “Rattan Conservation, Management and Development Initiative in Nepal” in local language and “Post Formation Support of Community Forest User Groups of Nepal”.
