Ramadhani Achdiawan, AgImpact International, Australia
Ramadhani Achdiawan is currently the research manager for Agricultural Impact International (AgImpact). He started his career in research as a field assistant almost 20 years ago. He got his Masters in Environment and Management from Royal Roads University, Canada. Formerly, he was Scientist at Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) in Bogor, Indonesia. He has been doing research on rattan since 1999, mainly on the socio-economic aspect on rattan. He is also involved in the establishment of Participatory Guarantee System (PGS), a first party certification, on rattan in Indonesia. Other than rattan, he has been doing research in the area of forestry, livelihoods, forest products, agroforestry and spices. His other expertise is in the area of quantitative research as he is also a statistician by training and monitoring and evaluation.
